In the ever-competitive tablet wars, the Acer Aspire ICONIA TAB A100 is looking to take low end a bit lower price-wise and with its impressive specs might do more than that. The 7″ tablet is available for sale on in the UK on Amazon for £299.99 and ships April 20th.

At $485US, the A100 should be fairly competitive against other Android 3.0 tablets slated for this spring. There is speculation of Acer lowering the US introduction pricetag to somewhere between $350 and $400.

Screen: 7", capacitive, 1024 x 600 pixel resolution capable of displaying 1080p HD video.

Processor: Dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2

Cameras: 2. 5 and 2 megapixel.
